The Clandeboye farm comprises about 600 acres of parkland and surrounding arable land.
Our main enterprise is the Holstein and Jersey dairy herd, from which we make our award winning Clandeboye Yoghurt. The dairy herd grazes the parks whilst the arable areas are used to grow grass, cereals and maize for winter feed.
We also have a small heard of Irish Moilies, Ulster’s only rare breed cattle, which graze the wildflower meadows in front of Clandeboye House.
The estate was once much larger and some of the original land near the sea at Helen’s Bay is still in our ownership. This land is farmed organically and produce sold under the Helen’s Bay Organic Gardens brand.
