Make your wedding day, corporate day or conference even more special by taking advantage of some of the other many activities that take place at Clandeboye Estate. Off road driving, championship golf, spa days and many beautiful walks are available within or in close proximity to the Estate and can be arranged by our events team.

Golf

The Blackwood Golf Centre is situated on the Clandeboye Estate and is home to one of the most beautiful parkland courses in Co.Down. The centre boasts a championship Hamilton Course that takes in much of the estate grounds including peaceful lakes and farmland views. There is also a smaller 18 hole Par 3 course, perfect for a novice player (or anyone who prefers a shorter walk!) and a driving range for practicing. Club hire and tee times can be arranged in advance.

Golf Revolution

Helen’s Tower Walks

Get out into the fresh air and enjoy one of the great walks to be taken in and around Clandeboye Estate. Travel back in time and try the 3 mile walk along the original carriageway created by the fifth Marquis linking the railway station at Helen’s Bay to his home at Clandeboye. The route leads right to Helen’s Tower, a fairytale tower built by the Marquis for his mother. Helen’s Tower is available to for short breaks and can be booked through the Irish Landmark Trust.

Ireland Off Road

Based in the courtyard at Clandeboye, Ireland Off-road offer a range of Off Road Driving experiences on the estate for individuals, groups or corporate days. As well as 4X4 driving, the company specialises in all sorts of outdoor activities including archery, team building and historical walking tours.

Sam’s Bistro

Set overlooking the 18th tee at Blackwood, Sam’s Bistror is a lovely place to enjoy a bite to eat or a coffee and scone. Take a seat outside on the deck and drink in the uninterrupted views of the estate and the golf course.

Location

Clandeboye Courtyard is situated off the main A2 dual carriageway between Belfast and Bangor. Traveling from Belfast, the main entrance is on the right after the traffic lights at Dickson’s Garden Centre.
