The Courtyard is surrounded by parkland and mature woodland that make great backdrops for wedding photography. Arrangements can also be made with the Marchioness to have access to the beautiful private Bee Garden at Clandeboye House for photography of the immediate Bridal party.
Throughout the seasons this private walled garden is a vibrant mix of colour and there are many truly magical locations for memorable wedding photography. The Bee Garden gets its name from the eye-catching central feature, “The Thomas Jackson Bee House”, a miniature perfectly portioned thatched bee cottage designed by 19th century architect Thomas Jackson, and given to the Marchioness in recent years.
For winter weddings, the Bride’s Room and the dovecote all make great settings for sheltered photography.
